Thank you so much to Jen from Tripping Through Treacle for tagging me in this quote challenge. I’m going to dedicate it to Barbara Bush, one of our classiest first ladies!
The rules:
- Thank the person who nominated you.
- Post a quote for three consecutive days, one coat quoteeach day.
- Share why this quote appeals to you so much.
- Nominate three different bloggers for each day.
“To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there.” Barbara Bush
This means so much to me because I don’t get to see my children or grandchildren very often. It’s a long plane ride from North Carolina to Seattle. We use FaceTime, but you can’t put your arms around each other and be there.
My nominees for today are:
Terry at reclaiminghope.blog
Deb at onceuponahotflash.com
Anne at horseaddict.net
Great quote! Yes I agree that “being there” can happen from afar.

Wonderful quote JoAnn! I have family in Australia and we FaceTime but it isn’t the same as proper cuddles. 💕

Your comment hits home…only for us we tend to drive. That said: it’s a long drive (tho we make it in 2 days) from here to **them**…

Ah! I see I have been tagged. Thank you Jo Ann! I shall start on the weekend. I’ve got a bit of ‘stuff’ going on here at the moment. Biasini has not been well and I’ve been preoccupied. but I think he has turned the corner and tomorrow will be back to his home barn.( he has been in the large animal hospital.)

I am so glad he is doing better! I had to wait a couple of days to get started, too! No worries!
