Fearless Friday

As I mentioned in my Wednesday post, I will be fasting from social media for two weeks. I will look forward to connecting with you when I come back! Even though Easter falls on April Fools’ Day this month, Jesus being resurrected from the dead is no joke! It is our blessed assurance that he lives, is our advocate, and fills us with his grace and mercy every day!

“But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).” John 20:11-16

Now for my exciting news. I was reading a post from Dave Peever a while back and I noticed a logo that he had on his sidebar. I always enjoy reading his posts. If you haven’t checked him out I recommend it.

I use the Bible Gateway exclusively for my Bible verses. So I contacted Dave to find out how I might become a Bible Gateway Blogger Grid member. This is a group of a broad array of blogs. Their approach is to invite bloggers who have well designed blogs, who blog meaningfully, and are serious about matters relating to the Bible. So I contacted them and received an invitation! I feel very blessed to be invited! Please check them out if you are interested.

I am just getting started, but they have a very large resource of helps for bloggers. I will explore more of them when I come back in two weeks.
