Scriptures for Sunday

As the athletes at the 2018 Winter Olympics congregate for the last time, I was thinking about some scriptures that I would like to share with you.

Psalm 1:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,

Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Psalm 22:22 New King James Version (NKJV)

I will declare Your name to My brethren;

In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.

Psalm 82:1 New King James Version (NKJV)

God stands in the congregation of the mighty;

He judges among the gods.

Hebrews 10:23-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
