Today’s Friday post is all about those that run into danger. There have been many instances over the last several months where people have run into danger rather than away from it. We have seen millions of acres burned, terrorist attacks, mass shootings, hurricanes, flooding, mud slides and all of the consequences that go along with each disaster.
Below I have listed probably just a few of the relief organizations that have assisted with recovery efforts. This list is in no way meant to be exhaustive. If you know of other organizations, please add them in the comments below. To those that run in the danger, we give you our heart felt, sincere thanks and appreciation. No words can really convey the depth of the love you show to others!
Among the fearless heroes are:
- Citizens who love other human beings enough to show their care and compassion— regardless of race, culture, economic status, or religion.
- Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
- Samaritans Purse
- American Red Cross
- Salvation Army
- National Guard
- First responders—firemen (local and national hot shot teams), police officers, medical personnel, etc.
- Many, if not all, church organization’s disaster relief teams
- World Vision
- Doctors Without Borders
- Direct Relief
- Hearts with Hands
- Convoy of Hope
- Disability Organizations
We salute you all!!

Beautiful post. To forget their acts of selflessness would be an anomaly.
