T-cells, B-cells, or both?

This article is fairly long and scientific, however, it’s a very good explanation of the science behind my new medicine.  It is a worthy read.

  1. Science is amazing, Jo Ann. I was told if I had received my cancer diagnosis even 4 years earlier, my treatment would have been much different. And the surgeries I had would have had to have occurred in another state. New medicine is such a good thing. Good luck to you.

      1. Unfortunately, I am not. I still have several more months of chemo to go, but my PET scans are looking good! Every day is one step, Jo Ann, and I am blessed that I have every day.

  2. I find this article good and bad. Good because the information is obviously very good BUT Genentech had rituxan long in use before October 2015 when this article was written. Rituxan also removes those specific B cells and is used in other auto immune diseases. I started taking Rituxan in May 2016 but it was being used for MS way before that.

      1. I apologize because that was me complaining about the world of pharmaceuticals and insurance when in truth the article regardless of anything was very informative.
