My faith in God my Father, Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit is not temporary. I am in for the long-haul.
Philippians 3:12-16 says “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected, but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

“Forgetting those things which are behind” – I hate when I get caught up in a cycle of “should have done this, should have done that.” It never gets me anywhere and simply leaves me frustrated. Love the reminder of this verse to press onwards with my eyes on Christ.

Such a great verse! Thank you for sharing it. I too am in it for the long haul because life without God, well, I’ve been there and done that and it is misery.

You are so right, it is misery! And some of it has been my own design. 😞😞
