Sunday Devotion

I just watched the movie Spotlight. Wow!  If that doesn’t send you to your knees to pray for our children, I don’t know what will. Here is some information from Wikipedia.

Spotlight is a 2015 American biographical crime drama film directed by Tom McCarthy and written by McCarthy and Josh Singer. The film follows The Boston Globe’s “Spotlight” team, the oldest continuously operating newspaper investigative journalist unit in the United States, and its investigation into cases of widespread and systemic child sex abuse in the Boston area by numerous Roman Catholic priests. It is based on a series of stories by the “Spotlight” team that earned The Globe the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.

  1. The world is filled with dangerous people. Some we’d never suspect are offenders. That’s why we need to be extra careful and vigilant where ever we go. Even then, there are dark things happening in dark places. I’m sure the movie Spotlight is a good example of that…

    1. Yes it is. North Carolina just passed a bill about a year ago stating that people must use bathrooms by what is stated on thei birth certificate. I am so proud of my state! So, when the new Democratic governor was elected and wanted to repeal the bill, the legislature voted against the repeal!

      1. Isn’t that great! Godly morality has to make a stand and hopefully a comeback in our country. It may well begin with smaller but important victories like what happened in No. Carolina!
